From a critical perspective, the area of THEORY seeks to construct a transnational network of professionals, academics and activists dedicated to the study of the relationship between colonialism, research and knowledge production. We are committed to the decolonization of the “universal” knowledge and, being conscious of the links between knowledge and power, KOLONIALISMO OSTEKO IKASKETA ZENTROA promotes an in-depth inquiry of Other epistemologies. Likewise, it collaborates in the construction of new theories that could help us to better understand the contemporary postcolonial condition and propose alternatives to it.
